Convention

The Convention is held every two years and consists of two main parts — the Chapter Congress Meeting and the College of Leadership. Special events include the Celebration of Brotherhood and the grand banquet. The Celebration of Brotherhood is a very special ceremony for brothers only that allows everyone to share their special memories of Alpha Kappa Psi brotherhood and makes you realize how special it is to be a part of this fraternity. The finale to the COnvention is the grand banquet where you dress in your finest and top off a grand Convention of meeting new friends and having a fabulous time.

The Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation is sponsoring the Case Competition at February’s Principled Business Leadership Institute. At each PBLI teams will compete for the top three spots and scholarships. Through the foundation’s Case Competition, students are introduced to the realities of decision making—including incomplete information, time constraints and conflicting goals--giving them first-hand experience in analyzing business situations. The competition is designed to stimulate students’ thinking by challenging their capabilities and preparing them for future managerial decision making.

Winners are selected at each Principled Business Leadership Institute location! First place teams receive $1,500, second place $750 and third place $500.
