Swarm Intelligence for Biological Modeling

The study of social interactions among human societies as well as insect societies has led to a new field in artificial intelligence: the study of collective intelligence. ‘Swarms of agents’ that exhibit such collectively intelligent behaviors are the focus of investigation within the Evolutionary & Swarm Design Laboratory at the University of Calgary, Canada.
