International Financial Statistics Online (International Monetary Fund)
The IFS database contains approximately 32,000 time series covering more than 200 countries and areas and includes all series appearing on the IFS Country Pages; exchange rate series for all Fund member countries, plus Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles; major Fund accounts series; and most other world, area, and country series from the IFS World Tables.
IFS database contains time series data from 1948.

SourceOECD is the online library of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and includes books, periodicals, statistical databases, and working papers.

UN Commodity Trade Database
130 countries provide the United Nations Statistics Division with their annual international trade statistics, detailed by commodity and partner country. For many countries the data coverage starts as far back as 1962 and goes up to the most recent completed year.

Bank of Canada
The Bank of Canada's website provides an overview of the financial system and monetary policy.  Statistics available include: exchange rates, daily or monthly up to 10 years, interest rates, price indexes, and economic indicators.  Also available are Bank of Canada publications and reports.

C.D. Howe Institute  Calgary and Region Economic Outlook 2008-2013
This document analyzes the economic issues that are most likely to have a significant effect on the local economy over the forecast period. Examines issues such as economic growth, commodities, construction, labour, demographics and much more. An excellent source of current and forecast economic indicators for the City of Calgary. 
Provides access reports published by the C.D. Howe Institute.  The reports are grouped based on subject.  Subjects include: fiscal and monetary policy, social policy, governance and public institutions, international trade and policy and economic growth and innovation. 

Calgary's Economy  (Calgary Economic Development)   
The website is published by the City of Calgary.  It provides an overview of key economic  indicators for the city, such as GDP, labour force, retail sales, housing starts, ect.

The Canadian Economy Online (Government of Canada)
This site provides key economic statistics. Also included are explanations of key economic concepts.  It provides access to other government publications and reports.  Also accessible are provincial and territorial economic indicators. 

Consumer Price Index (Statistics Canada)
Monthly consumer price index statistics for Canada and the provinces.

Currency Convertor  
This site provides a currency convertor for 164 national currencies.  This site allows the choice of various conversion rates: interbank plus a choice percentage, credit card rate, cash rate, ect.  Also, this site provides historic rates, allowing the user to imput a specific date.

Economic Research (Deloitte)  
Deliotte is a company that provides audit, consulting, financial advisory and risk management services.  This website provides access to their research publications.  The topics indclude economic and market issues and include quarterly global economic outlook reports.

Federal Reserve Economic Data 
Provides access to economic data for the United States compiled by the Federal Reserve of St. Louis.  Economic data can be downloaded in an excel format.  Additionally, charts can be created for key economic series.

FedStats
FedStats complies statistical information from various US Agencies.  This link takes you to a complete listing of all topics available: ranging from industry information and trends, to birth rates, eduction, energy consuption, and pregnancy rates.

Foreign Exchange Rates 
This website provides a currency converter.  This site provides historic currency rates as well as the ability to create a custom table.

GlobalEDGE (Michigan State University)  
Created by the International Business Center at Michigan State University, this website provides access to industry profiles that include statistical data.  Also included are Country Insights that provide statistics, historical, economic, and political conditions for 199 countries. 

Globus & NTDB
Provided by STAT-USA (U.S. Department of Commerce) this is an extensive information portal providing over 200,000 current and historical trade-related releases, international market research, country analysis, and trade and procurement leads.

Historical US-Canada Exchange Rates  
This is a direct link to the Federal Reserve Board’s Historic US-Canada Exchange rate data.  Excel files that includes daily and monthly exchange rate are available for download.

Historical statistics of Canada 1867 - mid-1970's (Statistics Canada) 
This website provides statistical tables on the social, economic and institutional conditions of Canada from the start of Confederation in 1867 to the mid-1970s.  The tables are available as pdf downloads from the website. Each table is preceded by an explanation of the data.

Historical T-Bill rates, Certificates of Depostit (CD's), Libor rates etc. (US data)
The website, published by HSH Associates Financial Publishers, provides treasury bill rates, interest rates, mortgage rates, and Libor rates for the US.

This website provides access to IMF economic statistical data and reports published by the IMF. Also available are exchange rates, financial rates by country, etc.

National Economic Accounts (U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis)  
This website is published by the US Bureau of Economic Analysis, US Department of Commerce.  It provides national economic statistics for the U.S.  Statistics include: GDP, Personal Income, fixed assets, ect.  Historical data tables are available to download in excel format. 

OECD Factbook 2008: Economic, Environmental and Social Statistics
This website is a link to the OECD Factbook.  This factbook provides key economic, social and demographic data for the general global environment.  Each section provides a definition of the economic statistic and the basis of comparison used in the global environment.

Regional Economic Accounts (U.S. Bureau of Economic Analaysis)   
This website is published by the US Bureau of Economic Analysis, US Department of Commerce.  It provides key economic indicators by state and metropolitan area.

Regional Economic Conditions (U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation)  
This website published by the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation provides economic data by geographic area for the US.  The website is organized by state.  For each state, industry activity data, employment and income data and real estate activity is accessible. 

Statistics Canada  
Statistics Canada provides key economic and demographic data for Canada, complied by the Canadian government.  Data tables can be downloaded in excel format.

UNData (United Nations)  
This website provides links to statistical information from various UN agencies.  This site can be searched by the desired UN agency.  Selecting a country from Country Data Services will open the government webpage with relevant statistical data.
