MADGIC Desk: MADGIC is a special service area, located on the 2nd floor of the MacKimmie Library Tower.  It houses the map and airphoto collections and provides access to numeric and spatial data to students and faculty.  Also check out the Academic Data Centre links provided by MADGIC.

Map Quest - Interactive Mapping tool

MapMachine - Interactive maps from National Geographic amd ESRI. Informational layers on each map, showing roads, political boundaries, and place names, can be turned on and off. Aerial imagery provided by GlobeXplorer" essentially allows you to zoom right in to many locations.

Outline Maps - Outline maps for educational and personal use

U.S. Gazetteer - This gazetteer is used to identify places to view with the Tiger Map Server

World Gazetteer - World Gazetteer, cities, towns, countries and regions of the world with population statistics

WorldTime  - Interactive mapping tool of local times, sunrise, sunset, etc

MSN Maps: Provided by MSN Maps, this is a useful resource for directions and topographical data.

Alberta
’s Airphoto Collection: The Alberta Online Airphoto Collection consists of about 32,000 copyright-cleared images from the University of Calgary Library's collection of about one million airphotos. The images cover mainly urban areas in Alberta, flown at various scales and years between 1922 and 1956.
